Friday The 13th The Series: Synopsis: The Baron’s Bride
Micki and Ryan investigate a cursed antique that’s turned its latest owner into a vampire. The object is a black formal cape with a diamond clasp, or a brooch, depending on the account. The cape makes the wearer irresistible to women, while the clasp/brooch has two powers: it can transform its wearer into a vampire, and when touched by blood it lets the wearer travel through time. The cousins discover a female vampire is using it to turn her new male tenant, Frank Edwards, into a vampire. Micki and Ryan manage to kill the female vampire, but Frank escapes with the cursed item.
Frank uses the blood-activated clasp to travel back to late 19th-century London. Micki and Ryan follow him through time and arrive in 1875. There they befriend a destitute young writer named Abraham and his fiancée Caitlin Stoker. Frank, now a murderous hypnotic vampire, sets his sights on Micki. The trio tracks Frank through Victorian London while trying to reclaim the cursed cape and stop his killing spree.
The cousins ultimately hunt down Frank and kill him by staking him, but not before Abraham’s fiancée is killed. Marie Simmons is also among the victims, impaled during the events. Micki and Ryan return to their own time, leaving Abraham behind. Jack later speculates that the writer they met may have been Bram Stoker, the future author of Dracula. The episode’s time travel sequences were notably filmed in black and white.
