This season has a lot of intriuguing elements, like Lois and Clark did, three years later. The alien wanting Superboy, Lana’s haircut to Teri Hatcher’s. The newspaper, it’s all coming together now, all the similarities to the real Superman universe but way prior to CW’s Smallville. We see in this episode that Clark and Lana and the previous Lois and Clark and Clark protects and loves Lana more than a sister and he isn’t nerdy like season two. Clark and Lana, aah!
We see an alien entity attack Clark and the town speedy up time for Clark, testing him to look for weaknesses. He wants to beat them and calls their bluff and wins. Lana almost thought Superboy gave up on her but that will never happen. She’s the number two love of his life, eventually falling out of love and in love with Lois. I wonder if she will make an appearance in season three or four. The aliens even unleashed their power and tried to fool Superboy with a robot. Still defeated.
