This was a very dark and rivetting episode. I was on the edge of my seat wondering how Lana would get out of her predicament. She almost died after having a few more houres to go. Lana meets a charismatic gym instructor and he takes advantange of her and while she was napping he experimented with her and it made her old.
She could have died if Superboy never planned a strategic operation to track him down and save Lana. Alchemy had a strong part to play in it as gold cells caused a rapid acceleration in age. Now Lana is back and Clark was only seen in this episode for a few minutes.
