This was the worst Star Trek experience I have ever had and it got worse after each passing episode. We started off with two misfits, Caleb Mir and Anesha Mir, son and mother, trying to escape justice and failing. They eventually get captured with Anesha in prison and Caleb, a ward of the federation for years upon years. Now Caleb is a part of Starfleet Academy with a group of friends no one would reject.
Caleb has become the apple of fugitive Noose who has pursued Caleb and his mother for years and now he has the upper hand on Starfleet, about to take so many lives and winning until the team getting everything together and outsmarted him until justice takes over and wins. It was armageddon and the team was losing at every turn and almost died until each member pulled their own weight and won.
Caleb is now officially a friend to his friends and is entering his second year at Starfleet Academy and his friends have gotten it together. Tarima and Caleb’s love story was annoying and I hated them. Pretty Tarima and Caleb so ugly and dark and big. He was played by an ugly actor who had the arrogance thing down pat, always full of himself.
Now all is well again and the team pulled off a narrow victory and saved countless lives. I am proud of this group but the story was flat and dry. I hated this story but if not for some moments I would have really hated it. It was 99% bad but the 1% was magic. Please don’t make a season two.
